(68cm) nitro reproved barrels (in 2012) with broad raised matt rib, gold scroll details at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, bolstered scroll-back treble-grip action with side-clips, automatic safety, gold cocking-indicators, gold-washed triggers, action with scrollwork and carved and gold-inlaid with game scenes of partridge and duck, 13 5/8in. stock with cheekpiece, carved in relief with acorn and oak leaf motifs, the fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and similarly carved with oak leaves and and acorns, weight 5lb. 13oz.
Provenance: The gun was completed in February 1980 and appears little used
