"PARADOX" FOSBERY PATENT', 2 1/2in. chambers, Fosbery patent rifled chokes, patent no. 7568 of 1885, bore dimensions marginal and some pitting, Perkes No.2 patent hammerless action, patent no. 1968 of 1878, use number 1723, carved fences, Scott patent gas check system, patent no. 617 of 1882, use number 4887, cocking lever return studs, protruding tumbler pivots, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border engraving, brushed finish (numerous surface indentations), 15in. replacement pistolgrip stock, horn pistolgrip-cap, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and replacement wood, weight 6lb. 14oz.
