English, early 19th century, approximately 13in. overall, wood base-plug held with iron pins, serrated edge with suspension hole (small losses) and turned neck (stopper missing), the body scrimshawed with 17 various countries and dates commencing with 'ENGLAND, IERLAND (sic) 1811' and finishing with 'FRANCE, ENGLAND 1819', signed 'T HERBERT' and surrounded with naïve floral decoration
