dated for 1844, with 20in. round barrel, applied fore-sight, standing leaf rear-sight, border-lined lock signed and dated 'TOWER 1844' together with a 'VR' crown cypher, walnut full-stock stamped with an illegible suppliers name to the underside near toe, brass furniture including pistol-gripped trigger-guard stamped 'N68', long iron varient saddle-bar with extension fixed with a wood-screw, one ramrod pipe (missing stirrup and captive ramrod), iron surfaces lightly corroded
