A PRESENTATION 'S.A.' 1933 PATTERN 'HOLBEIN' DRESS DAGGER,
circa 1935, with double edged 8 3/4in. blade (cleaned), etched with the motto ' ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND' (everything for Germany), makers mark to the reverse together with an engraved inscription 'UNSEREM STURMFUHRER WALTER SCHLEICHER ZUR ERINNERUNG AN STURM 51/138 27.1.35', (Our Sturmfuhrer Walter Schleicher in memory of Sturm 51/138 of 27.1.35), stained wood grip (some minor hairline cracks to top and base) inlaid with an eagle and swastika and the 'SA' roundel to top of hilt, solid nickel fittings with area stamp 'Nrh' (Neiderrhein), TOGETHER WITH its original brown metal scabbard with nickel chape and throat complete with its short leather hanger (some mild staining to blade and dents to scabbard)
