Lincoln Jr. & Co. trade label, sighting tubes and adjustment pick, with hand-written instructions; together with a book 'Longitude - The True Story of a Lone Genius Who Solved the Greatest Scientific Problem of His Time' by Dava Sobel, detailing a brief history of astronomy, navigation and horology and the central place of John Harrison, a self taught Yorkshire clockmaker and his forty year obsession with building the perfect timekeeper
