LEBEDA A PRAGUE', open sights and one folding leaf sight marked '100 PAS' and bead fore-sight, barrels drilled and plugged at breech and muzzle, eight groove rifling, Lebeda patent action with permanently attached fore-end with side-opening lever grip, sprung extractor operating lever, scrolled two piece triggerguard with integral pull back opening lever, carved percussion fences, the top-strap with applied silver escutcheon inscribed with the initials CGS surmounted by the coronet of a Vicomte, rebounding back-action locks with ornately decorated hammers, set triggers, fine acanthus scroll and border engraving with chequerboard detailing, the lockplates with fine game scenes of grazing chamois and a red deer pursued by a deer hound, the underside with with 'LEBEDA'S PATENT', retaining some original colour-hardening, 14 1/4in. stock with sculpted cheekpiece, sling eyes and including chequered steel buttplate (with trap), weight 7lb. 9oz.
