32in. nitro reproved 'Boston N' damascus barrels (in 2014, partially struck off), broad rib engraved 'E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION. N.Y.', 73mm chambers, bored approx. extra full choke in both, treble-grip action, carved percussion fences, Hepburn rebounding sidelocks with characteristic hammers, action flats marked with patent details for Aug. 8th 1871 and April 16th 1872, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14in. semi-pistolgrip stock with steel buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, weight 9lb. 6oz.
