circa 1905, with blued octagonal 26in. barrel, dove-tailed bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two folding leaves, matted top-flat signed 'ARMY & NAVY CSL LONDON' slab-sided border and partial scroll engraved side-lever central-hammer action (traces of colour), chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock, iron cap to pistol-grip, snap-on chequered splinter fore-end with ebony tip, the whole retaining much original finish except where noted TOGETHER WITH a canvas covered Army & Navy trade labelled case, compartmented and lined in burgundy baize and retaining a period cleaning rod (outer straps at fault)
