circa 1938, with 25 1/2in. detachable barrel, ramp fore-sight with dove-tailed blade, elevating notch rear-sight and micro-adjustable peep-sight fitted to the back of receiver, bolt-handle barrel lock, the plain air-chamber with model details to the left hand side and patent dates to the right, makers details to trigger mechanism housing, chequered saw-back half pistol-grip butt-stock and horn heel-plate (small chip at toe), the whole retaining much original finish
