AN UNUSUAL COMPOSED PAIR OF 18-BORE MATCHLOCK TORADOR MUSKETS, rack no's. 2/7642 & 2/4653,
Indian, from the Jaipur arsenal circa 1880, one with 49in. barrel, the other with 50in., both of identical form, slightly tapering with swamped muzzles bearing carved and banded decoration, applied fore-sight beads (one missing), standing notch rear-sights, open priming pans, plain iron sideplates extending along the top edge of the fore-ends, wood full-stocks with rattan barrel-bands, carved iron trigger-blades and original iron ramrods
