Belgian, circa 1845, with round 1 3/8in. turn-off micro-rifled barrels, squared boxlock actions with off-set central hammers and off-set nipples, the action body inlaid with four colour gold floral motifs enhanced with further engraving, fruitwood pistolgrip stocks with swollen butts decorated with a thick ivory butt-cap, centrally mounted cap-boxes with shell-shaped sprung lids, and engraved folding concealed triggers TOGETHER WITH their original mahogany storage case with brass-banding to the lid, centrally mounted rectangular brass escutcheon, the case interior with green satin lined lid and compartmented in the continental style for the two pistols and a full suite of accessories including a diminutive red morocco leather covered bag shaped flask, a scissors ball mould, a cap tin, turn-off key and an ivory pommelled loading rod
