circa 1800, with 1 3/8in. barrel engraved with bands of stars at the muzzle and breech, squared boxlock action engraved with a border of stars en-suite with the barrel, the central panels with martial trophies and signed 'S. NOCK' in a banner on the left hand side and 'LONDON' in a banner on the right, central hammer, sliding safe to the top-tang also locking the frizzen, the frizzen face engraved en-suite, chequered bag-shaped walnut grip with oval silver escutcheon at the wrist and folding, concealed automatic trigger
