circa 1800, with re-browned 39in. barrel, Tower proofs, dovetail top-tang, border-line engraved military-style lock signed 'REYNOLDS' forwards of the hammer (some details erased from tail), dark walnut three-quarter hand-rail stock with flat comb, carved border around the top-tang, brass furniture, the heel-plate numbered '39', provision for swivels (missing) and iron ramrod (iron surfaces stained, some pitting to lock)
