Perkes patent automatic thumb slide safety, patent no. 134 of 1879, with gold 'COCK'D' detail, leaf fences, beaded border and scroll engraving, the top engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND', Scott patent 3756 of 1873 'key' fore-end fastener 14 1/4in. stock, weight 6lb. 7oz., in its makers brass-cornered oak and leather case
