LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, fences deeply carved with oak leaves and acorns on a stippled background, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, best bold scroll engraving, the lockplates and underside with the makers name in elaborate cartouches, bright and blued finish, 14 3/8in. highly-figured stock slightly swept at comb, gold escutcheon bearing the coronet of a Count, weight 6lb. 6oz., in its lightweight brass-cornered leather case with some accessories
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed August 1907 with 29in. barrels for the Hon. S. Holland.
