circa 1800, converted from flintlock, with re-blued 32in. twist barrels, bead fore-sight, eared rear-sight notch to the border and scroll engraved top-tang, flat border-line engraved locks with flowers engraved to the pointed tails, signed 'BERLEUR' in script on the right and 'GUILLAUME' on the left, the original frizzens converted into nipple-protectors and safeties, dolphin headed hammers, figured walnut semi pistol-grip half-stock with radiused comb, skip-chequering to the fore-end and wrist, each intersection embellished with a silver pin, raised cheek-piece, re-blued border engraved iron heel-cap, engraved trigger-guard tang, the bow engraved with a lion, iron carved and engraved floral bouquet finial supported by a satanic mask, iron rococco fore-end cap engraved with serpent-tailed cherubs, carved ramrod throat, two under-barrel ramrod thimbles and wooden repaired possible original ramrod
