BERLIN.', flag safety, military-style magazine release, semi-pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, the spine of the stock carved with numerous notches dated from 1904 - 1923, 13 1/2in. pull including steel buttplate
Other Notes: This rifle is an example of a rare 'Plezier', or 'Pleasure' sporting rifle that was popular among the Boers in South Africa, where it was marketed by D.W.M as the 'Transvaal' model for use on plains game, and was subsequently used to good effect against the British during the Boer War.
