originally in .26 calibre, 26 1/2in. nitro barrel engraved 'B.S.A. .26 1923 MODEL SPORTING RIFLE', the rear action bridge with two flip-up peep sights calibrated for 200 and 400 yards, fitted with a rare WWI Aldis Brothers Birmingham sniper scope with brass fittings, No. 137652, set in quick detachable swing mounts, pistolgrip stock with chequered grip and fore-end, sling eyes, 14in. pull including chequered B.S.A. buttplate
