A CASED .450 NICKEL-PLATED SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S RIC', serial no. 2388,
circa 1883 with round 3 1/2in. barrel, ramped top-rib with crescent fore-sight, top-strap with deep sighting groove and signed 'H. HOLLAND, 98 NEW BOND ST. LONDON', plain cylinder with rear ratchet notch locking, plain frame with side mounted loading gate, chequered walnut one-piece grip, plated butt-cap with provision for lanyard ring (missing), the whole retaining virtually all of its original nickel plated finish TOGETHER WITH a tooled leather covered storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize, H. Holland trade label to inside of lid and retaining a period turnscrew (bullet tray missing).
