dated for 1916, with 4in. blued barrel, blued toggle, blued receiver and frame, provision for shoulder-stock, all matching numbers except the un-numbered correct type wooden-based magazine, the whole retaining virtually all its original blued finish (slight frosting) and some 'straw' colour to ancilliaries TOGETHER WITH its period brown leather holster (worn)
