Scottish, last quarter of the 19th century and probably made for Highland dress, with triple-staged 6 3/4in. rifled barrel, the front and rear sections of the barrel with line engraved faceted panels, the top of the barrel engraved 'WARRANTED', border and scroll engraved bar-action lock, scroll engraved hammer, scroll engraved all steel three-quarter butt with flat-sided pistol-grip and belt-hook mounted to left hand side, 'ramshorn' butt-cap with central removable ball-tipped pricker, ball trigger and iron ramrod
