A .750 FLINTLOCK MUSKET FOR THE EAST INDIA COMPANY, MODEL 'INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS', serial no. 624,
dated for 1808, with 39in. re-browned barrel, block fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight, London proofs, moulded bands at breech, military style lock stamped with the 'E.I.C.' rampant lion trademark forwards of the hammer and dated at the tail, walnut three-quarter stock, brass furniture and iron ramrod, the butt-stock stamped with farsi? devices and the barrel marked 'JPR/EXR 624'
