circa 1860, with re-browned 30in. twist-iron barrels, the top-rib with scroll engraving terminating in the signature 'JACKSON NOTTINGHAM' , acanthus scroll engraved breech-block and top-tang, back-action border and acanthus scroll engraved locks with forward extensions and signed 'JACKSON' behind the en-suite hammers, chequered walnut half-stock (inlet repair above right lock), re-blued furniture and period brass mounted ebony ramrod COMPLETE WITH its makers walnut storage case with brass reinforced corners, the interior lined and compartmented in turquoise velvet (some compartments loose), the padded lid with original Jackson trade label and complete with a number of accessories including a powder and a shot flask
