circa 1875, with round tapering 2 3/4in. barrel, solid frame, fluted cylinder, blued hammer and stud trigger, smooth ivory birdshead grips, the whole nickel plated and engraved with geometric designs and 'American' open scrolls, much nickel-plate remaining (action slightly at fault) TOGETHER WITH a later teak box with white metal corners and escutcheon, the interior compartmented and lined in red baize
