Spanish, circa 1880, with 27 1/2in. blade of triangular cross-section with concave sides, the first half of the blade etched with gilded scrolls on a blue ground with the 'TOLEDO' signature near the hilt, the hilt and scabbard formed of bamboo cane with a curved handle and a Sterling silver two-piece ferrule at the join
