circa 1876, with ovoid 4 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, sighting notch to top-strap, plain cylinder with front locking notches, plain iron frame, side loading gate, chequered one-piece walnut grip with iron butt-cap, lanyard ring at base, swing out ejector with crane mounted at the breech-end of barrel, the whole re-blued and re-finished
