recent, with heavy polished 9 1/2in. blade etched with a bust of Jim Bowie together with the dates '1796-1836', the forte stamped 'CASE XX USA BOWIE', heavy brass cross-guard with swollen finials, black hard rubber grip-piece held by three brass rivets (some slight storage marks) TOGETHER WITH a tooled leather scabbard and a flock-lined display carton (outer faded)
