27in. nitro barrels with raised rib, engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON', right wall thicknesses just below recommended minimum (as made), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, scroll-back action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897 with improved 'lighter pull-off' modification, patent no. 10567 of 7th May 1907, locks with engine turned finish, hinged floorplate, Westley Richards patent 'One Trigger' selective single trigger, triggerplate mounted selector switch with gold-inlaid 'L' and 'R' detail, profusely engraved with bold acanthus scrollwork, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 15oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
