LONDON.', wall thicknesses below recommended minimum, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and imp. cyl. choke, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved percussion fences, rebounding back-action locks with dolphin hammers, fine border and scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14in. well-figured stock including chequered steel buttplate, small insert repair at head, weight 7lb. 4oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was ordered by an H. Hibbert, Esq. in 1870.
