Chester hallmarks for 1881, with English three-quarter plate lever movement, bi-metallic compensated balance-wheel with diamond endstone, screwed chaton-set jewels, white enamel dial with sunken centre (hairlines), outer track divided into 1/5th second intervals numbered up to 300 in blocks of 25, inner track with black Roman numerals and tramline minute register, silver sword and poker hands with blued seconds hand, heavy case with coin milled edge, stop slider in the band at '2', inner curvette with twin winding and setting apertures and engraved escutcheon back, the inner surface with later dedication to 'HARRY WALMSLEY', TOGETHER WITH a modern presentation box
