LONDON.', and with 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. figured stocks, weight 5lb. 15oz., in their lightweight leather motor case with gold-tooled trade label and serial numbered instruction label
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this matched pair of shotguns were completed in 1936 with 28in. barrels. The name in the ledger is indistinct but appears to read 'Denys'.
