LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, bore dimensions marginal and right wall at 19, action with patent gas checks, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, hand-detachable lockplates, border engraving, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. well-figured stock (recoil pad removed), weight 5lb. 13oz., in its brass-cornered hammergun case with full complement of Holland & Holland labels including hand-written charge details
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed 1935 with 26 1/2in. barrels for Vivian Smith. It has remained with the family since being commissioned.
