30in. nitro reproved barrels, ribs with acanthus scrollwork at the breech ends and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', tubes engraved 'WATSON BROS. 7, BURY STREET. ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke (No.1, left wall at 18) and true cyl. and 3/4 (No.2), treble-grip actions with carved fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best bold acanthus scroll engraving interspersed with floral bouquets and with feathered bordering, the undersides engraved 'PATENT EJECTOR' in a cartouche, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening (No.1) and bright and blued finish (No.2), 14 1/8in. well-figured stock (cracked and repaired at hand) including 3/8in. buttplate No.1 gun, weight 6lb. 14oz.,15in. ink figured replacement stock including 1in. leather covered recoil pad No.2 gun, weight 7lb. 5oz., in their case
