30in. nitro reproved barrels, sunken rib engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, left bore dimension marginal, tubes dented, rivelled and with pitting, right wall at 18, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, dipped-edge lockplates with protruding tumbler pivots, bouquet and scroll engraving (worn), the underside with 'ROYAL EJECTOR PATENT NO. 11623, 14 1/2in. replacement stock including 1/2in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 8oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed March 1891 for a 'Baker'. The barrel length is not recorded.
