A GOOD 25-BORE FLINTLOCK RIFLED HOLSTER-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Continental, possibly German circa 1720, with slightly swamped octagonal 14 1/4in. barrel, applied brass fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the top-tang, curved and slightly radiused borderline engraved lock with sliding safe behind the hammer, walnut full-stock (broken through and repaired at wrist) with deeply carved and chiseled decoration of scrolls and trophies to the brass furniture and long-eared butt-cap, set-trigger (at fault), horn fore-end tip and later iron ramrod
