A LARGE 25-BORE PERCUSSION TURN-OFF BOXLOCK SASH-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1765 with later conversion to percussion, round triple-banded cannon-muzzled 5 1/2in. barrel, squared boxlock action with central hammer, the left hand side signed 'BUNNEY' within a banner in a field of scrolls, the right similar but signed 'LONDON', walnut slab-sided butt profusely inlaid with silver wire scrolls and sliding trigger-guard bow safety
