circa 1835, with turn-off tapering 1 1/2in. iron barrel, engraved muzzle, rounded brass boxlock action signed 'JNO JONES' on the left hand side and 'LONDON' on the left of the breech, the sides of the action engraved with martial trophies, central hammer, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped butt with silver oval escutcheon to the wrist and folding concealed automatic trigger
