probably Belgian, circa 1850, with 30in. plain barrels with the rifle barrel to the top, plain isolated lock mechanism with twin side-hammers mounted on the right hand side, walnut straight-hand butt-stock with brass furniture including crescent heel-plate and hinged patch-box, finger-spurred trigger-guard and provision for mounting two ramrods, one to each side of the barrel (both replaced)
