29 3/4in. nitro barrels, No.1 Vickers steel replacements in 1962, rib engraved 'F. BEESLEY. 2. ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON. PALL MALL.' and gold-inlaid '1', No.2 rib engraved 'F. BEESLEY. 2. ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON. PALL MALL CORNER.', and gold-inlaid '2', tubes engraved 'WHITWORTH FLUID PRESSED STEEL', right bore dimension marginal and wall at 19, foliferous carved fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 7/8in. figured stocks including 1in. leather covered recoil pads, weight 6lb. 10oz., in their brass-cornered oak and leather case

Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this pair of shotguns were completed as best quality on 4th February 1907 for W.M. McLeod and subsequently sold second hand by them to a Mr D.C. Evell in April 1928
