Belgian, circa 1800. with 3in. octagonal barrel, squared boxlock central hammer action, the body engraved with borders and swags, sliding safe behind the hammer also locking the frizzen, adjustable frizzen-spring, chequered walnut slab-sided butt with grooved back, pillar trigger-guard bow and iron under-barrel ramrod
