A CONVERTED 12-BORE ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 1142,
converted from muzzle-loader, to pinfire, to centrefire, 28 3/4in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'NIXON NEWARK' and '1' with a flash of scroll engraving at the breech end and starburst engraving around the filled pinfire holes, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Brazier action, Jones patent rotary underlever, carved serpentine fences, non-rebounding locks fine border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, 14 3/4in. figured stock with steel buttplate, weight 7lb. 2oz.
