for 1979, with blued round 20in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, scroll engraved colour-hardened receiver featuring two lawmen engaging an unseen quarry on the left hand side and a western town scene engraved on the right, top-tang engraved 'MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER', chequered walnut straight-hand butt-stock with blued iron 'carbine' heel-plate and an inlet cast medallion with a central bust of Bat Masterson above the legend '1877 DODGE CITY 1879', blued iron carbine ring to receiver, chequered walnut carbine fore-end with colour hardened iron barrel-band and blued full-length magazine, the whole appearing little used
