A COMMEMORATIVE .30-30 (WIN) LEVER-ACTION RIFLE, MODEL '94 RCMP CENTENNIAL', serial no. RCMP7650,
for 1973, with blued round 22in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, gold-plated receiver engraved with a scroll border surrounding a Canadian mounted policeman on the left hand side together with the dates 1873-1973, the right hand side with the letters 'MP' with scrolled accents, top-tang engraved with the Canadian Mounted Police motto 'MAINTIENS LE DROIT', walnut straight-hand butt-stock with gold-plated iron 'carbine' heel-plate and an inlet gold-plated medallion with a central device of the RCMP cap-badge surrounded by the initials 'NWMP', 'RNWMP', and 'RCMP' above the dates 1873-1973, the end of the butt stamped in the wood 'MP', walnut full-length carbine fore-end with gold-plated special nose-cap and concealed full-length magazine, the whole appearing little used
