A .455 SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION SERVICE REVOLVER, MODEL 'MKII HAND-EJECTOR', serial no. 48001,
circa 1916, with 6 1/2in. sighted barrel, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, blued fluted swing out cylinder, solid frame, chequered walnut grips with inlaid 'S&W' medallions and colour-hardened ancilliaries, retaining virtually all its factory blued finish and appearing little used (slight storage marks)
