30in. nitro barrels with 6mm ventilated matt top-rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, the action and furniture adorned with foliferous scroll engraving, the decorative sideplates engraved with scenes of flushed pheasant over a hinterland backdrop on the left, the right with a skein of waterfowl set against a fenland scene, the underside with an engraved vignette of a volant woodcock in a bosky setting, the triggerplate signed 'C. Chauvin', silver finish, 15in. figured stock, weight 7lb. 8oz.
