PALL MALL CORNER' (inscription worn) and gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, No.2 gun with 30in. nitro barrels, the tubes engraved 'F. BEESLEY. 7, BURY STREET, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON, ENGLAND.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both (No.1) and imp. cyl and 1/2 choke (No.2), carved filiciform fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2' respectively, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, bouquet and scroll engraving, the undersides engraved 'BEESLEY'S PATENT', brushed bright finish (No.1 brushed and blued), 15 3/8in. figured stocks (worn) including 1 5/8in. wooden extensions, weight 7lb. (No.1) 7lb 2oz. (No.2), in their brass-cornered oak and leather double guncase
