LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Theophilus Murcott patent action, patent no. 1003 of 15th April 1871, use number 62446 with push-forward underlever, manual lever safety with gold-inlaid 'LOCK'D' detail, action flat stamped 'TRADE MARK HAMMERLESS' and 'MURCOTT'S PATENT', beaded border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates signed 'T. MURCOTT', 14 1/2in. replacement stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with horn finial, weight 6lb. 11oz.
