PATENT.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, sling swivel, Collath patent action deeply carved in high relief with game scenes of fox, hare and hound amid scrolling filiciform motifs, all on a matted background, top tang with blank gold oval, gold cocking-indicators, horn and steel lefaucheux-type forward-facing underlever and fixed integral fore-end carved en suite with leaf and shell motifs, bar engraved in script 'No. 1066 Cal. 5', unusual side-mounted manual 'wingnut' safety, scrolled horn triggerguard with scrolling tang forming a pistolgrip, 13 5/8in. figured stock with cheekpiece, chipped at right overhorn, sling button and steel buttplate, weight 6lb. 14oz.
