28in. nitro chopperlump barrels, ribs gold-inlaid '1' and '2' and engraved in script 'MODELE DE LUXE', the tubes engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 33, BRUTON STREET, LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, hand-detachable lockplates with engraved and colour-hardened internals, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguards, actions, lockplates and furniture profusely engraved with bold acanthus scrollwork on a finely matted background, the lockplates engraved with the makers name in scrolling banners, the undersides with fine oval cartouches, inscribed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND.
